Residents believe the matter should be handled seriously through a professional, independent, transparent investigation based on legally admissible evidence.

According to several residents who requested anonymity, the alleged practice has been widely discussed within the community for years. They hope the investigation will not stop at individuals operating in the field but will also examine whether there are other parties allegedly involved in the management of the street vendors or in the alleged flow of funds related to the PKL activities.

In a statement sent to journalists via WhatsApp, one resident said many people are still afraid to provide information openly.
